Pere Marquette Park & Beach

The top attraction in the area is located on Lake Michigan and is about a 10-minute walk from The Pidge Inn to get your feet in the sand.  This beautiful clean park is 27.5-acres comprising 2.5 miles of public beach on Lake Michigan.  Enjoy fire pits, volleyball courts, a playground (handicap accessible), access to two lighthouses (inner lighthouse is handicap accessible), snack bar, ice cream, and The Deck restaurant.  In the winter see the beautiful ice formations that form on the water and beach due to the sand.  Don’t forget to take an amazing sunset picture.  They happen nightly! Muskegon Lake/Harbour Towne Beach

Harbour Towne Beach and Muskegon Lake are steps from The Pidge Inn.  This is a great beach for younger families since the beach is small with calm waters and has a similar feeling a private beach.  Muskegon Lake is a great size for all season fishing and other boat activities.  Ice fisherman love it in the winter. Muskegon Channel

We are steps from the Muskegon Channel, one of the deepest channels along Lake Michigan.  Take a walk or a bike ride along the channel on your way to Pere Marquette Beach or take a visit to the Silversides Submarine Museum.  Fisherman love this area.  During the fall look across the channel to see the leaves changing on the trees in Muskegon State Park.  Enjoy views of the boats, Muskegon Lake, Lake Michigan and Muskegon State Park. Dune Harbor Park

Dune Harbor Park is near Lake Michigan and The Pidge Inn.  There is a North Lake area with access to Lake Michigan and a South Lake area with nice hiking loop trail around the lake. It is located just South of Kruse Park at 3071 Lincoln St.

Kruse Park

Need your dog fix?  Visit Kruse Park to watch the pups play in the water. Located at the end of Sherman Blvd. on Lake Michigan.  The beach is accessible by a handicap accessible ramp and boardwalkto get to the water and the dunes and overlooks.  The beach is also accessible by walking south from Pere Marquette Park on Lake Michigan.
