Lakeside District is an up and coming area in Muskegon located about 10 minutes from The Pidge Inn. Cute shopping at Art Cats Gallery, Wasserman’s Flowers, Bellasimi Boutique, and Level 6. Try some great desserts at Hey Sugar and Lakeside Emporium. Enjoy the small bars and restaurants like Tiki boiz, the Pierogi Shack, Wonderland Distilling, and Marine Tap Room. This is where you can catch the Lake Express Ferry.

Located in downtown Muskegon at 1st and Western, there are 17 chalets selling homemade and customer products. Great place for gifts.

This is the second largest outdoor farmers market in Michigan. If you are staying in one of the many The Pidge Inn rooms with a kitchenette, make sure to get some fresh fixings at the farmers market. During the summer you can get all food groups, crafts, and even local photographer’s pictures on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Visit the Flea Market Wednesdays during the summer and fall, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday 8am - 2pm. During the winter the Farmer’s Market continues on Saturday’s indoors from 9am - 2pm.
