Our neighbor, and a great summer/fall restaurant that is walking distance from The Pidge Inn. Take a shortcut around the marina for excellent food, views of the harbor and Harbour Towne Marina (and The Pidge Inn!). Music during the summer on Friday/Saturday nights and Sunday afternoons. The Deck
This summer and fall restaurant is located directly on Pere Marquette Beach on Lake Michigan. Tons of outdoor seating, great food and music on most evenings and Sunday afternoons. Have dinner and cocktails in one of their pontoon boats! A good choice is to walk from The Pidge Inn, down the channel past the Silversides submarine, to the Coast Guard station, and down the beach to The Deck for a sunset dinner. It’s a beautiful 15 minute walk each way, and if you come back after dark, watch out for deer. Located at 1601 Beach St, Muskegon, MI 49441.

Lake Bluff Grille
Opening summer 2022. When we are in the mood for a little more upscale dining, with great food and service, the Lake Bluff Grille is our choice. It is located at the Muskegon Country Club, est. 1908 on 130 acres of dunes, and the dining room overlooks the beautiful golf course. While you are there, see if they will let you step out onto the banquet hall deck. You’ll get a great overlook of Muskegon Lake. Located at 2801 Lakeshore Dr, Muskegon, MI 49441.

Frosty Cove
No matter where you go, on your way back to The Pidge Inn, make sure to stop by the Frosty Cove and get some ice cream. Our only hint is that you should probably order the small cone, as it is larger than most larges from other places! It’s seasonal, so get it while you can. The breakfast is great, priced right, and served all day. They also have great sandwiches, and if we get the craving for a BLT, they have the best one in town. Muskegon Farmers Market
This is the second largest outdoor farmers market in Michigan. If you are staying in one of the many The Pidge Inn rooms with a kitchenette, make sure to get some fresh fixings at the farmers market. During the summer you can get all food groups, crafts, and even local photographer’s pictures on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Visit the Flea Market Wednesdays during the summer and fall, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday 8am - 2pm. During the winter the Farmer’s Market continues on Saturday’s indoors from 9am - 2pm.
